NABET-CWA Memorial Scholarship Awards

Overview: Six (6) annual scholarship awards for members and their families.

Geographic Scope: Available to members of NABET-CWA Local 11 and affiliated locals

Eligibility:

  • Active members in good standing

  • Active retirees

  • Sons and daughters of active members in good standing or active retirees

  • Applicants must be either in, or about to enter, an accredited college or trade school

  • High school applicants must be graduating in 2026

    • Award Details:

  • Amount: One-time $1,000 payment

  • Use: Tuition or other expenses to the school designated by the winner

    • Application Process: Two-part application

  • Part 1: Application of interest (deadline February 17, 2026)

  • Part 2: Essay and applicant information (deadline April 13, 2026)

  • All applications must be verified by the Local President before mailing

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    1. Submit Part 1 (Application of Interest)
    - Complete first application form
    - Deadline: February 17, 2026
    - Have application verified by Local President

    2. Receive Verification and Part 2
    - Once Part 1 is received and member is verified to be in good standing, applicant receives Part 2 application

    3. Submit Part 2 (Essay and Information)
    - Complete essay
    - Provide information about the applicant
    - Deadline: April 13, 2026
    - Have application verified by Local President

    4. Mail to Sector Office
    - All applications must be verified by Local President before mailing
    - Mail to NABET-CWA, 501 Third Street NW, Washington, DC 20001
