Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad (MVRS) Greene-Stubblefield Scholarship The Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary established a scholarship fund in 2013 to support post-secondary educational scholarships for members, children of members or dependents of members of the Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad (MVRS), and other qualified applicants. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors, recent high school graduates and adult learners who attend or plan to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, community college or university in the United States. If there are no members, children of members or dependents of members of the Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad who apply, then preference will be given to Chesterfield County residents enrolled in the County’s Health Science Specialty Center (currently at Cosby High School) or in the VCU Paramedic Program, through VCU’s Center for Trauma and Critical Care Education.Eligibility

Eligible applicant must be a member or connected to a member of the MVRS as outlined above or a resident of Chesterfield County enrolled in theprograms outlined above and either a graduating senior of a public or private high school; a recent high school graduate under the age of 21 who iscurrently enrolled or plans to enroll in college; or an adult returning to pursue a post-secondary degree. Eligible student must demonstrate a commitment to academics and be considered in "good academic standing" (receiving a 2.0 GPA or above) ifcurrently enrolled in school.
