Overview
Reimbursable grants for "bid-ready projects" for stabilization and weatherization of historic buildings meeting the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. Minimum 20% cash match of Total Project Cost required. A protective covenant (5 or 10 years) with SCDAH required before final reimbursement. Applicants must have minimum 50% of Total Project Costs on hand. Eligible applicants must own historic buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places (individually or as contributing resources in districts) or determined by SHPO to be individually eligible. Buildings must be located in South Carolina.
