Overview

GSA Scholarships

Funder: Georgia Securities Association (GSA)

Geographic Scope: Georgia (applicants must have main employment address in GA)

Award Type: One-time grants for general academic purposes

Eligible Institutions: Any accredited college, junior college, university, or graduate school

    Eligibility

  • Employee of a GSA member firm with main employment address in Georgia, OR
  • Immediate family member/dependent of an employee of a GSA member firm with main employment address in Georgia

    Background

  • Since 2010, the GSA has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to deserving candidates
  • In 2017, GSA established the First Annual Dallas Lundy Scholarship Award, named after the 1995 GSA President who was instrumental in setting up the scholarship program

    Award Requirements

  • Scholarship Maintenance: Recipients must maintain an overall minimum of a "B" GPA
  • Payment: Scholarships are paid directly to the student's college or university financial aid office in the name of the student
  • Award Status: One-time awards (not renewable)
