Overview
The GRANT Program supports economic development by providing matching funds for federal grants. Eligible federal sponsors include multiple federal agencies (DOJ, DOD, and others). Applicants must submit GRANT Program applications within 90 days of the federal grant application date. Local match requirements range from 2% - 10% based on county population ranking per HB 723. Approved applications retain approval for 12 months with option for 12-month extension (up to 24 months total to secure federal approval). Program sunset date extended to December 2028.
