FY27 State Police Revocation Enforcement

Violent Crime Intelligence Task Force. The Director of the Illinois State Police shall establish a statewide multi-jurisdictional Violent Crime Intelligence Task Force led by the Illinois State Police dedicated to combating gun violence, gun-trafficking, and other violent crime with the primary mission of preservation of life and reducing the occurrence and the fear of crime. The objectives of the Task Force shall include, but not be limited to, reducing and preventing illegal possession and use of firearms, firearm-related homicides, and other violent crimes, and solving firearm-related crimes.

Administrative and National Policy Requirements

1. Administrative and National Policy Requirements.
An 'Application APPROVED' email will be received from 'AmpliFund Administrator'.

2. State Award Notices.
The successful applicant can expect to receive a Grant Agreement to electronically execute Section 1.6 - Signatures.

3. Reporting.
Grant participants will be required to submit monthly performance within AmpliFund and upload Excel Spreadsheet.

Reporting

Monthly performance reporting will be documented through the AmpliFund program by entering required information and uploading an Excel spreadsheet within seven (7) days following the reporting period.

Credentials Documentation: Each agency is provided funding per Illinois Statute

Each Agency shall opt into "Data Sharing" on the ATF E-Trace Portal.

Each Agency shall assist the Illinois State Police in complying with 5 ILCS 830, Gun Trafficking Act. The Illinois State Police is required to use all reasonable efforts, as allowed by State law and regulations, federal law and regulations, and executed Memoranda of Understanding between Illinois law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, in making publicly available, on a regular and ongoing basis, key information related to firearms used in the commission of crimes in this State, including, but not limited to: reports on crimes committed with firearms, locations where the crimes occurred, the number of persons killed or injured in the commission of the crimes, the state where the firearms used originated, the Federal Firearms Licensee that sold the firearm, the type of firearms used, if known, annual statistical information concerning Firearm Owner's Identification Card and concealed carry license applications, revocations, and compliance with Section 9.5 of the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act, the information required in the report or on the Illinois State Police's website under Section 85 of the Firearms Restraining Order Act, and firearm dealer license certification inspections.
