How to Apply
Guidelines
Solid Waste Management Board (SWMB) grant funds are available to any county or regional solid waste authority that is in compliance with the requirements of W.Va. Code §22C-4-8, 22C-4-24, and the rules promulgated thereunder. Simply stated, authorities are eligible if their Comprehensive Litter and Solid Waste Control Plan and Commercial Solid Waste Facility Siting Plan are current and have been approved by the SWMB.
In order for the application to be considered “complete,” all forms MUST be completed and included with the application. Authorities applying for Solid Waste Management Board grant funds must submit the official forms through the Vendor Self Service (VSS) portal.

Applicants must submit the full application including all attachments electronically using the wvOasis Vendor Self Service (VSS) online portal at  www.wvoasis.gov
Instructional training videos for VSS are located under the  VSS Training  tab and include additional details regarding how to complete the grant funding application in VSS.
