Franklin O.L. Steinberg Scholarship

Established: 2018

Purpose: Provides financial support to qualified mortuary science students who reside in the state of New York and are enrolled in accredited mortuary science programs.

Geographic Scope: New York State only (residency or graduation requirement)

Focus Areas: Mortuary science education

Eligibility:

  • Reside in the state of New York

  • Enrolled in accredited mortuary science programs

  • First-year or second-year students

  • Online students

  • Students working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science

    • Special Requirements:

  • Application requires a 5-minute video

  • If video requirement is a hardship, applicants can request a video conference with the Scholarship Committee in early June (note this on application)
