Overview: The California Trucking Association recognizes the state's ground-breaking safety programs and talented professionals. The Fleet Safety Awards honor companies developing and implementing superior safety and loss prevention programs through management commitment, employee involvement, and program innovation.

Eligibility
- Companies submit self-audit results
- Independent panel of judges (comprised of government agencies and safety professionals) reviews submissions
- Panel evaluates: - Safety program organization - Training effectiveness - Driver supervision practices - Preventive maintenance programs - Overall accident reduction record
- Field audit performed by safety professional to verify winning entries

- 2026 FS Pro of the Year Application
- 2026 Excellence in Maintenance Application
2. Complete the self-audit form(s) required for your submission category
3. Submit by deadline: Email completed applications and self-audit forms to events@caltrux.org no later than 5pm on Friday, August 14, 2026
- Completed application form for selected category
- Self-audit results and forms
- Documentation of safety program details
- Evidence of accident reduction and program effectiveness
