Ernest K. and Lois R. Wulff Scholarship

Awarding Organization: Chief Engineers Association of Chicagoland

Program Overview:
The Chief Engineer Scholarship Fund provides two (2) scholarships annually through the Ernest K. and Lois R. Wulff Scholarship program. Awards are made payable directly to the school and may only be used for legitimate educational purposes.

Geographic Scope: Chicagoland area (Illinois, US)

Eligibility:

  • Must be applying to or enrolled in school

  • Applicants may have a family member who is a member of the Chief Engineers Association (not required)

    • Award Process:

  • The Chief Engineers Association Scholarship Committee is responsible for awarding scholarships

  • Selection process takes several months to complete

  • Maximum of two (2) scholarships awarded annually

  • Awards will be announced following the selection process

    Application Process

    Deadline: July 1st of the current year

    Required Materials:
    1. Completed written application form
    2. High school academic records
    3. SAT and/or ACT test scores
    4. Letter(s) of recommendation from a community leader, principal, or counselor
    5. Minimum 500-word essay on the field of education you have chosen to pursue

    Submission Instructions:

  • Submit all completed application materials to The Chief Engineers Association of Chicagoland business office

  • Application can be submitted online via their scholarship portal or by mail

  • Acceptable file formats for online submission: PDF, JPG, PNG

  • Maximum file size: 30 MB

    • Selection Criteria:

  • The Chief Engineers Association Scholarship Committee will evaluate all completed applications
