Perry Endowment Fund This fund was established to administer a bequest from the estate of David B. Perry. David Perry (1919-2003) was born in Kaneville Township. His great grandfather, Amos Miner, was the first settler in the township. Mr. Perry lived most of his life in the home that his great grandfather built. As a devoted member of the Kaneville Historical Society, Mr. Perry worked tirelessly to preserve the rich heritage of his community. For a number of years, he was employed by Northern Illinois University. He also raised cattle as well as crops on the land that he loved. He and his wife, Marian, were faithful attendees of the Chicago Opera and shared a deep respect for the traditions of the Kaneville community. Mrs. Perry died in 1989. This fund provides income for the support of charitable organizations located in Kaneville.Eligibility
