Overview

Cooling System Tune-Up Program

Overview: Provides a cash incentive to residential homeowners who have their cooling system tuned up by an HVAC contractor, regardless of the type or age of cooling system.

Geographic Scope: Available to residential customers of MEAN long-term wholesale power participants in eligible MEAN communities.

Program Period: Runs annually with MEAN's fiscal year (April 1 - March 31).

Eligibility:

  • Residential homeowners of MEAN long-term wholesale power participants

  • Must be located in eligible MEAN communities

  • Must have cooling system tuned up by a licensed HVAC contractor

  • Applies to any type or age of cooling system (air conditioner, air or water source heat pump)
  • Award Amount: $30 per cooling system tune-up

    Funding:

  • Funds paid on a first-come, first-served basis until funds last
