Program Overview
The residency is designed to provide exposure and experience in a wide variety of outpatient pharmacy practice settings, particularly those focused on transitions of care. At completion of the program, residents will be prepared for:- Every Frederick Health Pharmacy Resident will deliver formal presentations and actively contribute to case study presentations and clinical teaching
- Residents will teach various allied health professionals and precept pharmacy students on clinical rotations
- Academic affiliations with multiple schools of pharmacy including: University of Maryland, Shenandoah University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Notre Dame of Maryland University School of Pharmacy
- Residents may work toward a teaching certificate through the University of Maryland

- Research skills are essential component
- Each resident will complete a research project suitable for publication and presentation in selected area of community pharmacy practice
- Expected to attend ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Eastern States Regional Pharmacy Residency Conference
