Overview

Browsers Books Grants

Purpose: Establish or build classroom libraries and school libraries.

Geographic Scope: Olympia School District (WA)

Eligibility:

  • All Olympia School District staff who work directly with OSD students

  • Teachers, specialists, paraeducators, counselors, nurses, and principals
  • Funding Details:

  • Up to $500 per grant

  • 10 grants available

  • All books must be purchased through Browsers Bookshop, which offers an educator discount
  • Review Timeline: Up to two times throughout the year or until all budgeted funds are awarded

    Reporting: Within 30 days of project completion, applicants must submit a Post-Grant Report

    Application Note: Applicants use the same Opportunity Grants form for Browsers Books Grants

    How to Apply

    1. Read the Grants Guidelines (available for OSD staff or school-family organizations)
    2. Complete the Opportunity Grants application form and specify Browsers Books as the category
    3. Click submit
    4. Within 30 days of project completion, write and submit a Post-Grant Report
