BEE Award – Being Excellent Every Day

Program Overview: The BEE Award recognizes professionals who go Beyond Exceptional Expectations in supporting patients, members, and fellow team members. This award celebrates staff members who are not nurses.

Geographic Scope: McKenzie Health locations including:

  • McKenzie Health Hospital (Watford City)

  • Good Shepherd Home (long-term care)

  • Connie Wold Wellness Center

  • All McKenzie Health facilities
  • Focus Areas: Recognition of exceptional service demonstrated through:

  • Creating welcoming, supportive environments

  • Building positive relationships with patients and staff

  • Going above and beyond daily responsibilities

  • Showing compassion and dedication

  • Contributing to team morale and culture
  • Eligibility:

  • All McKenzie Health staff members who are not registered or licensed nurses

  • Includes:

  • - Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
    - Patient Registration staff
    - Wellness Center staff
    - Support and administrative staff
    - All non-nursing healthcare professionals

    Recognition Details:

  • Awards presented twice yearly (May and December)

  • Multiple nominations accepted each cycle (21-79 nominations typical)

  • Award winner receives special recognition, celebration, and announcement
