Purpose: Honors Advanced Practice Provider (APP) excellence throughout Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group. Recognizes an APP who demonstrates excellence in collaborative care and has made noteworthy contributions to promote patient wellness.

Geographic Scope: Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group locations across Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi

Eligibility:
Any Advanced Practice Provider with one or more years of service or affiliation with:

Baptist Medical Group

Baptist Memorial Hospitals

Baptist Health Sciences University

Including:

Nurse Practitioners (NP)

Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)

Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)

Certified Registration Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)

Physician Assistants (PA)

Who Can Submit Nominations: Any Baptist team member

Evaluation Criteria:

Exceptional clinical knowledge

Exemplary relationships with both patients and team members

Unwavering commitment to high-quality care for all patients

Commitment to the APP profession

Distinguished Contribution Areas (nominees should excel in at least one):

Quality or process improvement

Patient care innovation

Award Announcement: Winners announced at APP Conference on September 18, 2026

Additional Requirements: Award finalists (one per entity) will require reference letters from two different care team members (office manager, precepting physician, or fellow APP) demonstrating how the nominee meets award criteria.
