Overview: Annual award honoring Advanced Practice Provider (APP) excellence throughout Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group.

Geographic Scope: Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group facilities across Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee

Award Focus: Recognizes Advanced Practice Providers who demonstrate excellence in collaborative care and have made noteworthy contributions to promote patient wellness.

Eligibility

Who can be nominated:
• Any Advanced Practice Provider with one or more years of service or affiliation with:
- Baptist Medical Group - Baptist Memorial Hospitals - Baptist Health Sciences University

Eligible professional categories:

Nurse Practitioners (NP)

Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)

Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)

Physician Assistants (PA)

Who can submit nominations:

Any Baptist team member

Evaluation Criteria

Nominees will be judged on:
• Exceptional clinical knowledge
• Exemplary relationships with both patients and team members
• Unwavering commitment to high-quality care for all patients
• Commitment to the APP profession

Nominees should distinguish themselves through exceptional contribution in one or more of the following areas:

Quality or process improvement

Patient care innovation

Trainee teaching

Mentorship

Community service

Team-building

Additional Requirements

• Award finalists (one per entity) will require reference letters from two different care team members (such as office manager, precepting physician, or fellow APP) demonstrating how the nominee meets the award criteria

Timeline

• 2026 Nomination Window: May 11 - July 17, 2026
• Announcement: Winners announced at APP Conference on September 18, 2026
