Baptist Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Award

Purpose: Honors Advanced Practice Provider (APP) excellence throughout Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group, recognizing APPs who demonstrate excellence in collaborative care and have made noteworthy contributions to promote patient wellness.

Geographic Scope: Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group locations across Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee

Eligible Professions:

Nurse Practitioners (NP)

Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)

Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)

Physician Assistants (PA)

Eligibility Requirements:

One or more years of service or affiliation with Baptist Medical Group, Baptist Memorial Hospitals, or Baptist Health Sciences University

Award Announcement: Winners announced at the APP Conference on September 18, 2026

Evaluation Criteria:

Exceptional clinical knowledge

Exemplary relationships with both patients and team members

Unwavering commitment to high-quality care for all patients

Commitment to the APP profession

Distinguished contributions in one or more of the following areas:

- Quality or process improvement
- Patient care innovation
- Trainee teaching
- Mentorship
- Community service
- Team-building

Additional Requirements: Award finalists (one per entity) will require reference letters from two different care team members (office manager, precepting physician, or fellow APP)
