Overview: UPSWING Foundation offers the Athlete Experience Scholarship Program to create equal access to sports performance, dance, and recovery training.

Eligibility

• Household Income Requirement: Household income must be LESS THAN 2.5x the limit of Colorado's Reduced Lunch Program

Scholarship Periods & Deadlines

Applications are due one month prior to the upcoming period start date:
• Spring Period: February 1 – April 30 (Application deadline: January 1)
• Summer Period: May 1 – July 31 (Application deadline: April 1)
• Fall Period: August 1 – October 31 (Application deadline: July 1)
• Winter Period: November 1 – January 31 (Application deadline: October 1)

Participation Requirements

• Athletes must attend training an average of 1-2 times per week
• Minimum requirement: 12 sessions over the 3-month period to maintain scholarship status
• Failure to meet 12-session minimum results in ineligibility for scholarship renewal for future periods
• Renewal applications are due one month before the end of the current scholarship period
