Program Overview: The All-Star Dad Award is an annual recognition program that honors exceptional fathers who demonstrate dedication, love, unselfishness, bravery, support, and community service. Winners are recognized at the Father of the Year Awards luncheon and receive a prize trip to New York City.

  • Prize: Three-day/two-night trip for up to four people to New York City, including:
  • - One double-occupancy hotel room for two-night/three-day stay - Round-trip coach air transportation from winner's home airport to NYC area - Approximate retail value: $3,500 (may vary by location)
  • Geographic Scope: Contiguous United States and Washington, D.C.

    Eligibility

  • Who can nominate: Anyone can nominate a father (biological, adoptive, or foster father) or nominate themselves
  • Nominee requirements: Must be a legal resident of contiguous US and D.C.
  • Submission requirements for minors: Submissions from those under 18 must include permission signature from adult/legal guardian
  • Ineligible parties: Employees, members, and families of the National Father's Day Committee and related organizations

    Selection Criteria

    Entries are judged on:
  • Type and extent of nominee's community service
  • Impact on family and community
  • Demonstration of dedication, love, unselfishness, bravery, support
  • Charitable work and community participation

    Important Notes

  • No purchase necessary
  • Winners must comply with all instructions in prize notification within 14 days
  • Winners and travel companions must sign Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release
  • Winners may be required to participate in media interviews
  • All expenses not specifically covered by sponsors are winner's responsibility
  • Federal, state, and local taxes are winner's sole responsibility
  • By accepting prize, winner grants sponsors exclusive, perpetual right to publish, use, edit, and adapt entry for any purpose in any media
