Overview

Lucia C. Harrison Endowed Memorial Geography Scholarship This scholarship supports outstanding juniors and seniors who are majoring in community and regional planning, geography, the teaching of geography, and tourism and travel. Sophomores are given their award for their junior year and juniors for their senior year in each of the following majors if a qualified applicant exists. If there is not a qualified applicant for every major/concentration, up to five awards in any major/concentration may be given. Community & Regional PlanningGeographyTeaching of Geography: Secondary Education OR Social Studies Major with a Geography MinorTourism & Travel Students can only earn each award once. The junior scholarship award is $1500 and is credited directly to the student’s account for tuition only. These awards are contingent on available funding and qualified applicants. The senior scholarship award is $500 and is credited directly to the student’s account for tuition only. These awards are contingent on available funding and qualified applicants.
