What Grants Cover
Geographic Scope
Sequim, Washington - Available to eligible Sequim educators and school staff- Available to eligible Sequim educators and school staff
- Teaching Grants are available to fund projects that enhance student learning experiences
- Renewal Grants: Teachers can apply for the same grant over multiple cycles. Renewal grants require applying during a grant cycle as well as updating the previous application with assessment results and an updated budget. SEF cannot fund grants in perpetuity and therefore all renewal applications will be required to explain the process and results of seeking funding sources outside of SEF to support this grant.
- If the assessment results of an innovative resource or project funded by SEF over several grant cycles demonstrate success and significant benefit to SSD, SEF will work with the applicant to explore outside options for sustained funding.
Eligibility
- Unexpected Funding Loss: Applicant must demonstrate that planned funding was secured and confirmed, but later withdrawn or lost due to external factors.
- Unpredictable Impact to the continuity of education: An event or issue that was unforeseen during the regular grant cycle requires funding and the grantee did not reasonably anticipate this impact during the grant cycle. Example: a school group made it to a national competition and needs financial assistance to attend.
