Overview

Student Assembly at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs Academy Assembly is the longest-running undergraduate national security conference in the United States. Each year, the Air Force Academy hosts subject matter experts who tackle important and often controversial topics relevant to contemporary political discourse. Over one hundred undergraduate delegates from around the country attend these keynotes and panels, participate in roundtable workshops, and discuss important issues facing our nation and world. The 2024 US Air Force Assembly takes place April 9–11, 2025, and the theme is “The Great Power Competition.” Two-to-four Harvard undergraduates will be nominated to attend and examine the many facets of the changing relations in both the European and the Indo-Pacific Region. The Air Force Academy will provide lodging, meals, thought-provoking discourse, and an unforgettable time to meet and interact with cadets, undergraduate guests, and distinguished visitors and speakers. Awards and Benefits The Weatherhead Center will nominate 2–4 undergraduates to participate in the Assembly. The Center will pay the conference fees and cover modest transportation costs to and from Colorado Springs.
