Premier Lodge Award

Program Period: May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026

Purpose: Recognition award for lodges demonstrating excellence across multiple operational and community engagement criteria.

Geographic Scope: Moose Fraternity-wide

Eligibility Requirements

To earn the Premier Lodge Award, a Lodge must meet ALL of the following criteria by April 30, 2026:

1. Membership Growth: Increase active membership over the fiscal year ending 4/30/2025
2. Charitable Giving: Increase in total giving to Moose Charities over the fiscal year ending 4/30/2025, OR lodge per capita contributions to Moose Charities during fiscal year ending 4/30/2026 must equal or exceed the fraternity-wide per capita average of $8.69 per member (as established during prior 2 calendar years)
3. Community Reports: Submit Heart of the Community Reports and receive a grade of "Excellent" or "Superior" on each report
4. Debt Reduction: Indebtedness on monthly Moose International Consolidated Billing Statement is reduced at least 5% by April 30, 2026 compared to May 2025 balance (zero or negative balance counts as less than prior year)
5. Nominations: Submit Moose of the Year nomination form by established deadline
6. Convention Attendance: Lodge must be represented at the 2025 International Convention, 2025 Association State Annual Convention, and 2026 Association Mid-Year Convention by any lodge member
7. Endowment Fund: Lodge must remit Endowment Fund contributions to Moose Charities in at least 10 months during the year
8. Orientation: Lodge must hold an Orientation/Lodge enrollment a minimum of every two months during the year, starting no later than June
9. Financial Reviews: Conduct Monthly Financial Reviews and submit report to Territory Manager at least 10 months of the year
10. Tax Compliance: Submit current year IRS Form 990 on time (due September 15, 2025, or file extension March 15, 2026). All previous filings shall be current with no loss of tax status.

Associated Leadership Awards

When a Lodge qualifies for the Premier Lodge Award, both the President and/or Administrator can earn a Leadership Award, qualifying each for 100,000 Moose Rewards points.

Leadership Award Individual Criteria (ALL must be met):

Must serve a full term from May 1 through April 30

Must be an active Chapter/Moose Legion member at close of term (April 30)

Must sponsor at least three members into The Moose during term

Must personally attend ALL meetings during term of service:

- Association Annual Convention
- Association Mid-Year Conference
- 2025 Moose International Convention
- (Alternate delegates qualify for lodge representation but DO NOT qualify for Leadership Award)

Must successfully complete minimum required training per Training rules and regulations

Administrator only: Reconciliation Quickbooks 10 of 12 months (May 1 to April 30)

President only: Financial Review Committee formed and conducting monthly reviews

Important Note: At the discretion of the Chief Compliance Officer, a Lodge may be disqualified from earning the Premier Lodge Award or Leadership Award for failing to abide by General Laws.
