Overview
Premier Lodge Award
Overview: Recognition award for lodges that demonstrate excellence across multiple performance areas during the fiscal year. Qualifying lodge leadership may also earn Leadership Awards with Moose Rewards points.
Fiscal Year Measured: May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026
Geographic Scope: All Moose lodges across the Fraternity
Focus Areas:
Award Recognition: Lodges recognized as winners; Leadership Awards available for qualifying President and/or Administrator
Eligibility Requirements
A Lodge must meet ALL of the following criteria:
1. Membership Growth: Increase Active Membership over the fiscal year ending 4/30/2025
2. Charitable Giving: Increase in Total Giving to Moose Charities over fiscal year ending 4/30/2025, OR Lodge per capita contributions to Moose Charities during fiscal year ending 4/30/2026 must equal or exceed fraternity-wide per capita average of $8.69 per member
3. Community Reports: Submit Heart of the Community Reports and receive grade of "Excellent" or "Superior" on each report
4. Indebtedness Reduction: Indebtedness on monthly Moose International Consolidated Billing Statement is reduced at least 5% at April 30, 2026 compared to May 2025 balance (zero or less balance considered less than prior year)
5. Moose of the Year Nomination: Submit Moose of the Year nomination form by established deadline
6. Convention Attendance: Lodge represented at:
- 2025 International Convention
- 2025 Association State Annual Convention
- 2026 Association Mid-Year Convention
(Any lodge member can serve as representative)
7. Endowment Fund Contributions: Remit Endowment Fund contributions to Moose Charities in at least 10 months during the year
8. Orientation Programs: Hold Orientation/Lodge enrollment minimum every two months during the year, starting no later than June
9. Financial Reviews: Conduct Monthly Financial Reviews and submit report to Territory Manager at least 10 months of the year
10. IRS Compliance: Submit Current Year IRS form 990 on time (Due September 15, 2025, or file extension March 15, 2026). All previous filings must be current with no loss of tax status.
Leadership Award Criteria (President and/or Administrator)
When the Lodge qualifies for Premier Lodge Award, leadership may earn Leadership Awards worth 100,000 Moose Rewards points each if they individually meet ALL criteria:
- Must serve a full term from May 1 through April 30
- Must be active Chapter/Moose Legion member at close of term (April 30)
- Must sponsor at least three members into The Moose during term
- Must personally attend ALL required meetings during year of service: - Association Annual Convention - Association Mid-Year Conference - 2025 Moose International Convention (Alternate Delegates do NOT qualify for Leadership Award)
- Must complete minimum required training per Training rules and regulations
- Administrator only: Reconciliation of QuickBooks for 10 of 12 months (May 1 - April 30)
- President only: Financial Review Committee formed and conducting monthly reviews
Disqualification: At discretion of Chief Compliance Officer, a Lodge may be disqualified from earning Premier Lodge Award or Leadership Award for failing to abide by General Laws.

Application Process
1. Track Performance: Monitor all 10 required criteria throughout fiscal year (May 1, 2025 - April 30, 2026)
2. Submit Required Documents:
- Heart of the Community Reports (for evaluation by deadline)
- Moose of the Year nomination form (by established deadline)
- Monthly Financial Reviews (at least 10 months)
- IRS Form 990 (by September 15, 2025 or March 15, 2026 with extension)
3. Ensure Convention Attendance:
- Designate representative(s) for:
- 2025 International Convention
- 2025 Association State Annual Convention
- 2026 Association Mid-Year Convention
4. Document Endowment Fund Contributions: Track contributions to Moose Charities for at least 10 months
5. Conduct Orientation Programs: Hold at minimum every two months starting by June; submit records
6. Maintain Billing Account: Reduce indebtedness by 5% from May 2025 to April 2026

1. President Applicant Must:
- Verify full term of service (May 1 - April 30)
- Document sponsorship of 3+ members
- Collect attendance records for all required meetings/conventions
- Submit evidence of training completion
- Document Financial Review Committee formation and monthly meetings
2. Administrator Applicant Must:
- Verify full term of service (May 1 - April 30)
- Document sponsorship of 3+ members
- Collect attendance records for all required meetings/conventions
- Submit evidence of training completion
- Submit QuickBooks reconciliation records (10 of 12 months)
3. Submit Leadership Award Nomination: Include all documentation with lodge's Premier Lodge Award submission
