Michael Breschi Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,500 for each of two recipients annually

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Graduating high school seniors

  • Planning to attend college

  • Son or daughter of an active lacrosse coach or official

  • Parent/guardian must be a male or female coach or official in youth, high school, or college

  • Parent/guardian should be a full-time employee of an educational institution

    • Award Details:

  • One-time scholarship award of $2,500 per recipient

  • $2,500 will be issued to the scholarship winner's college/university after the transcript of the first semester/quarter has been received by USA Lacrosse

  • Scholarship winners responsible for verifying acceptance meets institutional regulations

  • Must meet NCAA regulations if recipient is a scholarship-athlete

    • Background:
    Established in 2007 to honor Michael Breschi's memory following a fatal accident. Michael was the son of UNC men's head coach Joe Breschi.
