Jordan Heimer Memorial Scholarship for Allied Health Education

Overview: Established to honor the memory of Jordan Heimer and support students pursuing careers in allied healthcare fields.

Background: Jordan Heimer was a student of Smoky Valley High School who would have graduated with the Class of 2008. He had just completed Certified Nurse Aide coursework and begun working in healthcare before his death in 2007. His family believed his CNA training made a difference in his life as he learned to assist in the care of residents at Bethany Home.

Award Details:

  • Four $500 scholarships awarded annually
  • Eligibility:

  • Smoky Valley or Southeast of Saline High School seniors

  • Enrolling in any college, vocational/technical school, or trade school

  • Pursuing a career in the healthcare field
