Helotes Festival Association Scholarship Program
Funder: Helotes Festival Association Inc, Helotes, TX 78023
Award Amount: Four (4) scholarships of $1,500 each
Geographic Scope: Helotes, Texas area; limited to students residing within attendance boundaries of Brandeis High School, Harlan High School, O'Connor High School, Sotomayor High School, or Taft High School
- Be a graduating senior during the 2025–2026 school year
- Reside within the attendance boundaries of one of the five specified high schools
- Students attending magnet schools, private schools, Christian schools, or homeschooled students are eligible provided they live within one of the listed school boundaries
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following:- No restrictions on intended undergraduate course of study
- Applicants must select an accredited college or university
- Scholarship will be awarded upon proof of enrollment
- Payment made directly to the institution of choice

How to Apply
Required Application Materials
Applicants must submit ALL FOUR (4) of the following items:
1. Official sealed high school transcript - reflecting grades through the most recent grading period
2. One (1) letter of recommendation from a school official (teacher, counselor, administrator, etc.)
3. Two (2) letters of recommendation from non-relatives
4. Personal narrative (self-description) including:
- Hobbies
- Employment history
- Community service involvement
- Scholastic and organizational activities and awards
- Major educational interests
- Applicant's full name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
