Overview: This scholarship honors Dr. Melissa Kling's 20-year dedication to AEMV conferences and her passion for encouraging young practitioners to build their skills with exotic companion mammals. Dr. Kling was passionate in her service to AEMV and recruiting others to get involved with the association. She was honored with the 2024 Oxbow Quest Award.

Award: Exotic365 Conference Scholarship

  • Free conference registration to the annual AEMV conference

  • Reimbursement stipend up to $2,000 covering:

    • - Travel to and from the conference
    - Hotel costs
    - Food during the conference

    Eligibility:

  • Must be an AEMV member

  • Must be a first-time attendee to an AEMV conference

    • Requirements:

  • Recipients must attend and participate in conference
