Airport Improvement Program - Matching Grant (OH) Ohio's airport system consists of 151 public-use facilities (airports, heliports, seaplane landing areas) and is supported in part by the Office of Aviation's Airport Grant Program. Purpose The Ohio Airport Improvement Program’s intent is to improve the safety and utility of Ohio’s airports, consistent with the Ohio Airport System Plan. Eligible Projects Eligible project includes all projects at GA airports that are funded by the FAA AIP Grant program. Funding Funding available for this year's ODOT Ohio Airport Improvement Program Grants are approximately $7,000,000. ODOT General Aviation Airport Matching Grants will pay up to 5% of the eligible Project Value of the FAA AIP or IIJA-AIG grant to General Aviation Airports. Final cost breakout is 95% FAA, 5% ODOT, 0% local.Eligibility
