Educational Testing Service (ETS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1947 by the Board of Regents for the Education Department of the State of New York. Headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, ETS is the world's largest private educational testing and assessment organization. The organization conducts research on statistical and psychometric methodology to advance the science of educational measurement and develops educational assessments for use across K-12, college admissions, graduate and business school admissions, and professional development.
