Case Study: Vietnam Blood System — Researchers spent two weeks in Vietnam meeting with leaders and documenting how the Vietnam Blood System identified deficiencies, developed a comprehensive plan, and implemented modernization efforts. The resulting case study can be used by blood systems in developing nations seeking to modernize.
Cellular Therapy Training and Certification Program — CTF identified a need for cellular therapy training and certification for the U.S. blood industry and has developed programming to address this gap.
Medical Laboratory Science Education — The foundation has made substantial investments in medical laboratory science education, including more than half a million dollars to Old Dominion University's MLS program and establishing the Dr. Robert E. Carden Professorship in Immunohematology at VCU College of Health Professions.
