EXPAND AMATEUR DIGITAL RADIO. TAPR IS INVOLVED IN A MULTI-YEAR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, FUNDED BY ARDC, TO DEVELOP A SPECIALIZED RADIO RECEIVER FOR A PERSONAL SPACE WEATHER STATION (PSWS); A PROJECT PARTIALLY FUNDED BY THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION AND LED BY DR. N FRISSELL AT UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO DEVELOP A LOW COST, MASS- PRODUCIBLE DESIGN FOR HOBBYISTS AND SCIENTISTS TO OBSERVE THE EFFECTS OF SPACE WEATHER ON RADIO WAVE PROPAGATION.
