The CHC Foundation is Idaho's second-largest private foundation and the largest foundation in Southeastern Idaho. Based in Idaho Falls, the foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 1985 following the closure and liquidation of Community Hospital's assets. The foundation's name derives from "Community Hospital Corporation." It is an independent organization not affiliated with any other organizations or corporations.
