Arnold H. Kaplan serves as trustee of the foundation. He is retired from UnitedHealth Group, where he served as chief financial officer. Prior to that role, he was senior vice-president and chief financial officer for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Kaplan holds a bachelor of science degree in commerce and engineering from Drexel University (1962) and a master's of science degree in industrial administration from Carnegie-Mellon University (1964). He is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has served on numerous boards including the American Jewish Historical Society, Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network, the Allentown Art Museum, the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee, and the Baum School of Art. He is past chairman of the Alumni Board of Governors of Drexel University.

Deanne Kaplan serves as trustee of the foundation. Originally from Pittsburgh, she holds a degree in history from the University of Pittsburgh. She taught history and was active in Jewish communal life, serving as local chapter president of Hadassah (the Women's Zionist Organization) in Allentown and West Chester.

Pamela Ryba serves as trustee of the foundation.

The Kaplans have two children and six grandchildren and reside in the Sarasota area of Florida.
