Hyman "Jebb" Levy (1926-2019) - Founder

Levy was born in Rochester, New York, to Louis and Bella Levy, Sephardic Jews who immigrated from Monastir, Macedonia. He served three years in the U.S. Navy during World War II before relocating to Southern California. He co-founded the Loubella Expendables women's clothing company with his brother Matt, which operated for 45 years. Levy was honored with the Sephardic Heritage Award from Sephardic Temple Tifereth Israel in 1988.
