Fundación Colibrí is a 501(c)(3) private family foundation established in November 2017 by Monica de la Torre and Herb Allen III. The foundation is based in New York with a strong focus on Puerto Rico. It was created in response to the long-term recovery and transformation needs of Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, and continues to support nonprofit organizations addressing community needs that emerged after the 2019-20 earthquakes and the 2020-21 global pandemic.
