THE CHAMBER IS ORGANIZED TO ADVANCE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND PROSPERITY OF WILLIAMSPORT AND LYCOMING COUNTY SO THAT ITS BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND CITIZENS SHALL PROSPER. PROMOTION AND ADVOCACY SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH PARTICULAR ATTENTION AND EMPHASIS GIVEN TO THE ECONOMIC, CIVIC, COMMERCIAL, CULTURAL,INDUSTRIAL, TOURISM, AND EDUCATIONAL INTEREST OF THE AREA.
