THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO ENCOURAGE, PROMOTE, AND EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND ITS MEMBERS ABOUT WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT. THE SAN ANGELO CHAPTER OF SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL'S (SACSCI) EXEMPT PURPOSE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: - TO COLLECT, ORGANIZE AND DISTRIBUTE EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION AND DATA REGARDING THE WILD ANIMALS OF THE WORLD AND HUNTING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE IN THE WORLD. - TO RECEIVE DONATIONS AND TO DISBURSE FUNDS TO SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL, OTHER ORGANIZATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS PURSUING THE SAME OR SIMILAR GOALS AS SACSCI. - TO PROVIDE A CHANNEL FOR ORGANIZED EFFORTS TO PROMOTE A PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE SPORT OF HUNTING AS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT.
