THE POLICE FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1995 BY BUSINESS AND CIVIC LEADERS AS AN INDEPENDENT, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO STRENGTHENING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND PROMOTING PUBLIC SAFETY.
