TO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ELK RAPIDS DISTRICT LIBRARY THROUGH PARTICIPATION AND FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. TO ACTIVELY SOLICIT, ADMINISTER AND DISBURSE DONATIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, FOUNDATIONS AND CORPORATIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LIBRARY. TO ORGANIZE AND MANAGE THE LIBRARY'S USED BOOKSTORE, GENERATING FUNDS BY DISPOSING OF AND/OR RECYLCING BOOKS AND OTHER MEDIA MATERIALS. TO FINANCE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR THE COMMUNITY. TO ADVOCATE FOR THE NEEDS OF THE LIBRARY AND PROMOTE IT IN THE COMMUNITY.
