- Section manager at Hewlett-Packard, where he contributed to development of the first hand-held electronic calculator, original LED technology, and oversaw operations in Singapore
- Co-inventor of the Sonicare sonic toothbrush and co-founder of Sonicare, which he built into the fastest-growing private company in the U.S. in 1997 before selling to Philips Electronics
- Co-founder and CEO of the Clarisonic Company, which was sold to L'Oreal in 2011
- Recipient of the "United States Small Business Person of the Year" award in 1997
David Giuliani passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022, at age 75, after managing metastatic lung cancer for more than five years.
Patricia Roven Giuliani (married to David in 1980) passed away in 2019 following a battle with mantle cell lymphoma.
