THE PURPOSES OF CIRCUIT EVENTS LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE ARE TO (1) ASSIST WITH ORGANIZATION, ADMINISTATION, MANAGEMENT, PROMOTION, FACILITATION, AND OPERATION RELATED TO HOSTING THE FORMULA ONE UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX AND OTHER EVENTS, COMPETITIONS, AND ACTIVITIES AS MAY BE HOSTED BY THE CORPORATION IN THE DISCRETION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND (2) PROMOTE THE PUBLIC INTEREST OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TRAVIS COUNTY, AND THE STATE OF TEXAS.
