CHILDREN'S NEBRASKA FOUNDATION (THE FOUNDATION) WAS CREATED IN 1981 TO RAISE AWARENESS AND MANAGE AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL & MEDICAL CENTER'S (THE HOSPITAL) PREMIER PEDIATRIC SERVICES AND PROGRAMS. AS AN ADVOCATE FOR CHILDREN, MANY OF THE SERVICES THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES ARE NOT REIMBURSED.
