The primary purpose of Affordable Housing, Education and Development (AHEAD) Inc. (the "Corporation") is to provide opportunities for decent, safe, sanitary, affordable housing to the region's lower income people through comprehensive, cooperative programs which use community resources and emphasize education, personal initiative, democratic values, and economic empowerment. To provide opportunities to strengthen the standard of living for all community residents through retention, expansion, attraction of jobs, outreach programs and business development projects. The Corporation will be a membership-based entity.
